Tara joined New SADLE in 1999 when she was brought to Kathmandu by Dr. Pradhan from a health camp in her village Sindhupalchowk. She had no fingers in her left hand by birth and also lost her toes during her childhood. She is not even aware of when this happened to her.
She is a home based worker and works in the Batik section at New SADLE.
She is physically disabled and also suffering from migraine. She lost her father during her childhood when she was just eight years old and mother in the year 2006 due to cancer. She is not married and lives with her brothers who are taking good care of her. Her life is moving smoothly now with the income earned from New SADLE and love of her brothers.
