Kapan center produces various products from different sections such as bags, batik, Dhaka, buttons, paper and printing. The centre also serves as on the job training for trainees. These high quality handicraft products are sold in many developed countries including Europe, USA, Japan, Canada and Australia. Any surplus from the sales of handicraft goods is directed towards our medical, educational and social services costs. These include the continuation of free medical treatment, running of the old age home, free education for the children of leprosy/polio cases, free day care centers and, finally, community based rehabilitation for leprosy affected people.
